NMU Dance Competition
The NMU Hip Hop Dance Crew proudly presents the NMU Dance Competition! The crew wants to give surrounding dance studios, teams, and individuals the opportunity to show the Marquette community what they can do.
Performers will be scored by a panel of judges and the three groups with the highest scores will be rewarded with a prize.
The competition will be Friday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m. in Jamrich Hall Room 1100. Tickets will be sold for $5.00.

Previous Events
Dance Concert
The Dance Concert was our third time performing for the public this year (2018). With a variety of different dance styles and groups, it was enjoyable to watch and to be a part of. The Hip Hop Crew looks forward to performing again next year!
Pump Up the Dome
Those of us that could, volunteered for Pump Up the Dome. This event was a day where the youth could come to the Superior Dome and enjoy the largest assortment of inflatable games and activities.
Volleyball Games
In between matches, the crew gave the crowd some entertainment. We love dancing and are grateful for these performance opportunities.
Haunted Hayride
With other non-profit community groups, we were a part of the Haunted Hayride. This was our main fundraising event of the 2017 semester. For three nights, hours on end, the crew put on a scare for passing trailers full of community members. With our "Wedding Gone Wrong" theme, the dead decided to make sure the bride and groom would live "till death do you part."
RedBull Bracket Reel
The RedBull Bracket Reel is a country wide dance competition. Multiple dance groups throughout the U.S. have to create choreography and record themselves to a different song every week. Once the video is completed, it is sent into the Bracket Reel and judged by famous choreographers. Part of the scoring also comes from the public through online votes. For the past two years, the Hip Hop Crew has competed in this challenge. The RedBull Bracket Reel has been an amazing opportunity and learning experience for the crew.
